I took Harper to one of Jeff's softball games last Thursday. Their team, Lakeside Tavern, played at 6:30 and 7:30, so we squeezed the second game in between dinner and bedtime. Little did I know that Harper would be playing a little game of her own! She was really diggin' on the boy sitting at the end of our bench, so much, in fact, that she walked over to him and poked him in the arm to get his attention! Oh, how I laughed!
Harper, a flirt? Nah. Maybe. Well, yeah.
The best part? Overhearing the conversation between the boy and his mom.
Boy: "I don't know how to talk to her."
Mom: "Just smile at her. Say 'hi.' She likes you!"
A mom coaching her son how to talk to a girl, albeit a nine-month old girl! The times and faces may change, but the game remains the same!
Don't you love her 24-karat gold shoes? That's just how she rolls....
